Decades of clinical wisdom. A narrative approach to healing.

Meet Howard

Howard Errey is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience delivering counselling, psychotherapy, and clinical support across private, public, corporate, and education sectors.

In a former life, Howard was a bookseller and bookshop manager—a foundation that sparked his lifelong interest in stories, depth psychology, and how narratives shape the human psyche. After registering as a psychologist in 2000, he initially worked in alcohol and other drugs counselling before expanding into education, career guidance, and learning design.

Howard has long pioneered the intersection of psychology and technology. Throughout his career, he led national projects establishing online counselling systems, developing e-therapy frameworks, and facilitating inclusive digital engagement for disadvantaged learners. He has provided educational consultancy to institutions including RMIT University, Box Hill Institute, eWorks, and Open Universities Australia.

Now operating full-time in private practice in Castlemaine, Howard blends decades of clinical wisdom with a deep passion for analytical (Jungian) psychology, exploring how personal stories, unconscious dynamics, and cinema influence our lives.
